助理工程督察主要負責協助統籌及監管施工機器及車輛的使用、監督員工；以及監督由承建商及直屬員工所進行的土木工程的建造和保養工作。
註：
可能須在香港任何地區工作；在部門宿舍／行動中心留宿；不定時工作及輪班工作。
職責
An Assistant Inspector of Works is mainly deployed on assisting in the organization and control of mechanical plant and vehicles, and supervision of staff; and supervising the construction and maintenance of civil engineering works carried out by contractors and direct labour.
Note:
May be required to work in any part of Hong Kong; live in departmental quarters / operation centres; and work irregular hours and shift duties.
入職條件
申請人必須
- (a)持有本港理工學院／理工大學或香港專業教育學院／科技學院／工業學院頒發的文憑或高級證書，主修土木工程，或具同等學歷；以及
- (b)在取得學歷後具有三年相關工作經驗；以及
- (c)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績，或具同等成績(註一)。
Candidates should have
- (a)a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Civil Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic / polytechnic university or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) / technical college / technical institute, or equivalent; and
- (b)three years’ relevant post-qualification experience; and
- (c)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent (Note 1).
入職條件(註)
- (1)政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) C級及E級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3級和第2級的成績。
- (2)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，所有公務員職位的招聘，均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。應徵者如獲邀參加遴選面試，會被安排於面試當日參加基本法筆試。筆試會於面試開始前或結束後舉行。應徵者在基本法知識測試的表現，會用作評核其整體表現的其中一個考慮因素。
