To work independently, or in collaboration with other team members of the FSDC Secretariat as appropriate, in performing the following duties to promote the sustainable development of the financial services industry of Hong Kong:

• (a)to assist in planning and implementing policy research programmes and organising conferences and workshops as necessary;
• (b)to assist in conducting in-depth policy research/studies related to economic and financial market developments and prepare relevant policy research papers, reports, presentation materials and briefing materials;
• (c)to participate and provide input in policy analysis and discussions related to financial market development;
• (d)to provide secretarial support to the Council, committees and working groups of the FSDC; and
• (e)to perform other duties as required.

• (a)A Hong Kong bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in finance or economics;
• (b)At least 10 years’ experience in economic or financial market research or analysis; solid experiences in working with financial institutions, regulators and public sector organisations will be of an advantage;
• (c)“Level 3” or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent (Note);
• (d)Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese and English; good command of Putonghua is an advantage;
• (e)Good report drafting and presentation skills; and
• (f)Proficiency in computer knowledge and skills, including MS Office and Chinese word processing.
