(a)have a bachelor degree in journalism or communication from a local or overseas university, or equivalent; and a minimum of 5 years’ full-time post-qualification media/journalistic experience; or a diploma in journalism or communication from a registered post-secondary college issued after the date of its registration, or equivalent; and a minimum of 10 years’ full-time post-qualification media/journalistic experience;
(b)have good command of written and spoken English and/or Chinese;
(c)have good understanding of community affairs;
(d)have effective research skills, including the use of online resources;
(e)have strong communication, organisational and presentation skills; and
(f)be mature, self-motivated and able to work independently; and prepared to work long or irregular hours.
