(a) To plan, coordinate and oversee the implementation and administration of student admission and subsidy schemes which provide Hong Kong students with an alternative study pathway and exchange and internship opportunities in the Mainland; (b) To coordinate and liaise with relevant Mainland authorities, post-secondary institutions, contractors, etc. in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the student admission and subsidy schemes; (c) To review the effectiveness of the student admission and subsidy schemes, and prepare information and discussion papers relating to the schemes; (d) To organise the annual Mainland Higher Education Expo; and (e) To undertake any other duties as and when required.

(a) a Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent (holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. Copies of official transcripts and certificates should be attached to the applications); (b) at least 10 years' work experience, with at least 6 years' administration experience in local public sector or higher education field; (c) strong planning and organisational abilities and ability to work independently under pressure; (d) good knowledge of the local community and the higher education sector; (e) outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; (f) excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and fluent in Putonghua; and (g) good knowledge of application of computer software such as word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation and data analysis tools.
