職責
二級工人主要負責以下工作:
(a)保持辦公樓宇、家具及器材整齊清潔,以及執行茶房工作;
(b)執行一般體力勞動工作,包括為會議及活動搬移家具及協助準備器材;
(c)執行辦公室保安工作;
(d)在接待處當值,派發表格及資料單張,解答簡單查詢,以及記錄社區中心及社區會堂設施的預訂申請;
(e)執行一般辦公室支援工作,如操作影印機及其他辦公室器材,以及收發文件、郵件、表格、資料及宣傳材料、文具、物料及器材;以及
(f)在天氣惡劣以及發生天災和緊急事故時,執行職務。
(註:二級工人或須 –
(a)不定時工作、輪班當值、逾時工作(包括星期六、日及公眾假期)及執行戶外工作;
(b)接受被派往民政事務總署轄下任何辦事處(包括各分處)工作的安排; 以及
(c)接受部門間調職安排,以填補其他決策局/部門內同一職系的職位空缺以及擔任不同種類的職務。)
A Workman II is mainly deployed on –
(a)maintaining general cleanliness and orderliness of the office building, furniture and equipment, and providing pantry services;
(b)performing general laboring work including preparing and moving furniture and equipment for meetings and activities;
(c)performing office security duties;
(d)manning the enquiry counter, distributing forms and information sheets and answering simple enquiries, and taking bookings for the use of community centre/hall facilities;
(e)performing general office support duties such as operating photocopiers and other office machines, as well as collecting and delivering documents, mails, forms, information and publicity materials, stationery items, stores and equipment; and
(f)performing duties during extreme weather conditions, emergency and natural disasters.
(Note: Successful candidates may be required to–
(a)work irregular hours, shifts, or overtime (including on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) and perform outdoor duties;
(b)be subject to posting to work in any offices (including sub-offices) of the Home Affairs Department; and
(c)be subject to posting to fill vacancies and carry out different duties in the same grade in other Government bureaux / departments when the need arises.)
入職條件
申請人無論男女,均可應徵。申請人必須:
(a)能以中文及簡單英語溝通;
(b)能書寫簡單中文或簡單英文;以及
(c)能閲讀簡單中文及簡單英文。
The post is open to both male and female candidates. Candidates should be able to –
(a)communicate in Chinese and simple English;

入職條件(註)
(a)申請人須通過技能測試。
(b)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知以及在社區推廣學習《基本法》,所有公務員職位的招聘,均會包括《基本法》知識評核。獲邀參加招聘面試及技能測試的申請人,會在招聘面試中接受口頭提問,以評核其對《基本法》的認識。本署只會在兩名申請人的整體表現相若時,才參考其《基本法》知識評核的表現。
