職責
批發市場管理主任主要負責(a)整體規劃、組織並協調食品批發市場的日常運作；(b)評估批發市場在營運過程中出現的問題和情況，並提出解決辦法，以確保市場運作暢順；(c)監察服務承辦商的表現；(d)就關於食物安全、走私、非法入境者、賭博、三合會活動、交通和罪案的事宜與相關政府部門聯繫；(e)就關於批發市場運作的各類事宜與商會和商戶聯繫；以及(f)執行按需要獲指派的其他職務。
A Wholesale Markets Management Officer is mainly deployed on (a) overall planning, organizing and coordinating the day-to-day operation of wholesale food markets; (b) evaluating problems and issues arising from wholesale markets operation and recommending solutions with a view to safeguarding smooth market operation; (c) monitoring the service contractors’ performance; (d) liaising with relevant government departments regarding food safety, smuggling, illegal immigrant, gambling, triad activities, traffic and crime issues; (e) liaising with trade associations and market traders on all aspects related to the operation of wholesale markets; and (f) performing any other duties assigned from time to time as deemed necessary.
入職條件
申請人必須(a)持有本港大學所頒授的應用或自然科學／農業／農業經濟學／經濟學或統計學適當學科的一級或二級榮譽學位，或具同等學歷；(b)在取得學位後在適當範疇內具3年有關工作經驗或持有本港大學的應用或自然科學／農業／農業經濟學／經濟學或統計學適當學科的本港碩士或博士學位或深造文憑，或具同等學歷；以及(c)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科達第2級或以上成績，或具同等成績。
註：2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) E級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績。
The applicant should have (a) a Hong Kong First or Second Class honours degree in an appropriate subject in Applied or Natural Science / Agriculture / Agricultural Economics / Economics / Statistics, or equivalent; (b) three years' post-graduate experience in an appropriate field or a Hong Kong Higher Degree or post-graduate Diploma in an appropriate subject in Applied or Natural Science / Agriculture / Agricultural Economics / Economics / Statistics, or equivalent; and (c) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent.
Notes: ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
