按法庭及相關覆檢委員會要求為罪犯進行心理評估；為所員提供心理輔導；建議、制定和推行針對罪犯更生的治療計劃；協助制定和推行與聘任、培訓和發展以及職員福利相關的政策和計劃；進行與工作相關的資料蒐集/研究；以及按需要為職員和他們的家人提供心理治療及輔導。
註：
須受監獄條例約束。
職責
Conduct psychological assessments on offenders for the courts and for the relevant review boards; provide counselling for inmates; advise, develop and implement treatment programmes for the rehabilitation of offenders; assist in developing and implementing relevant policies and programmes relating to staff recruitment, training and development and staff welfare; conduct work-related researches/studies and provide psychological treatment for staff and their family members as necessary.

入職條件
- (a)持有本地大學頒授的臨床心理學碩士學位，或同等學歷[附註(g)]；(b)在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷(中文運用及英文運用)取得「二級」成績，或同等成績[入職條件註(ii)至(iv)]；及(c)操流利粵語及英語。
- (a)A Master degree in Clinical Psychology from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent [General Note (g)];
- (b)‘Level 2’ results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent

入職條件(註)
- (i)於2017年內修畢臨床心理學碩士學位課程的人士，亦可提出申請，但有關申請人須考獲所需學歷方會獲考慮聘用。
- (ii)中文運用及英文運用試卷的考生成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」，並以「二級」為最高等級。
- (iii)香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第5級或以上成績；或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科C級或以上的成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的二級成績。香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第4級成績；或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科D級的成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的一級成績。
- (iv)香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第5級或以上成績；或香港高級程度會考英語運用科C級或以上成績；或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level)(GCE A Level)English Language科C級或以上成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的二級成績。香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第4級成績；或香港高級程度會考英語運用科D級成績；或GCE A Level English Language科D級成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的一級成績。在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績的人士，在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的二級成績。IELTS考試成績必須在職位申請期內其中任何一日有效。
