(a) to assist in managing social media platform of the Bureau; (b) to monitor news relating to the work of THB on social media; (c) to conduct research and analysis on housing- and transport-related issues, including social media research; (d) to liaise with government departments, local/overseas universities, think tanks and research organisations as appropriate; (e) to help prepare presentations, briefs, speeches, reports, publications, publicity materials and articles; (f) to help organise meetings with stakeholders; (g) to help prepare replies to public enquiries; and (h) to perform other duties as required by the Bureau.

(a) have a bachelor or master degree, preferably in the social sciences, communication or languages from a local or overseas university, or equivalent; and a minimum of 5 years of full-time post-qualification working experience in public affairs, policy research, journalism or new media; (b) have Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007, or proven proficiency in written Chinese and English in the form of published work; (c) well versed with IT skills and social media; (d) have good understanding of political and/or community affairs; (e) have strong communication, organisational and presentation skills; and (f) be self-motivated, mature and able to work independently; and prepared to work irregular hours.
