Mainly deployed on management of consultants, specification preparation, design review, project management, site supervision, operation and maintenance of various types of electrical and mechanical equipment and installations for sewage treatment works and sewage pumping stations. <br>(N.B: Successful candidates may be required to work irregular hours, shift and in remote areas.)

This position is open to both male and female. <br>Candidates should - <br>

• (a)be a Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (Electrical or Mechanical Discipline) elected after 5 December 1975, or equivalent

• (b)have at least 3 years' relevant post-qualification working experience in electrical and mechanical projects and contract management related to sewage treatment works and/or sewage pumping stations

• (c)have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2

• (1)Applicants holding non-local professional qualifications only should prove the equivalency of such qualifications by the closing date for application, with supporting documents such as evidence of acceptance of their qualifications by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers for admission to its Corporate Membership (Electrical or Mechanical Discipline). <br> <br>
• (2)Candidates with less than three years of relevant post-qualification experience may also apply but a lower monthly salary ($58,040 per month) will be offered if selected for appointment. <br> <br>
• (3)For appointment purpose, ‘Grade C’ and ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ and ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
