Provide ticket inspection, audience admission and crowd control service. Communicate with the patrons. Supervise ushers to ensure that they perform their duties up to the required standard. Resolve difficult cases encountered by ushers and inform Duty Officers if further action is required. Deploy ushers to man positions and arrange their working period according to the work situation and the nature of functions. Required to work under stage lighting in dark and noisy environment with stepped aisles; walk and stand for extended periods of time; and be equipped with a walkie-talkie; perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisors.

• (a)
  • (i)Level 2 or equivalent [See Note (1)] or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent; OR; <br>
  • (ii)Level 2 [See Note (2)] / Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; <br>
• (b)Able to read and write Chinese and English; speak fluent Cantonese, English and Putonghua; <br>
• (c)Possess at least four years’ experience in working as usher in performing arts venue. and <br>
• (d)Applicants who are able to work during daytime on weekdays may have an advantage.
