Responsible for supervising licensing, permit or related services of the Licensing Offices, Ex-gratia Payment Unit or Cross Boundary Unit of the Transport Department, including processing licence/ permit applications with departmental computer systems, performing service counter duties, preparing correspondences, statistical data and reports, interviewing members of the public in person, answering public enquiries and complaints, and performing any other duties assigned by senior officers. <br> <br>(Note: May be required to work irregular hours, shift-duties and overtime.)

Candidates should have - <br>I.

• (a)
  • (i)Level 2 or equivalent

• (ii)Level 2

• (b)At least 8 years' full-time working experience in customer or counter services (At least 2 years of which are at supervisory level and preference will be given to candidates with working experience in the public sector); <br>OR <br>
• (c)Form 5 standard, or equivalent; and <br>
• (d)At least 15 years' full-time working experience in customer or counter services (At least 5 years of which are at supervisory level and preference will be given to candidates with working experience in the public sector); <br>II. Knowledge of computer application in MS Word and Excel; <br>III. Knowledge of Chinese word processing; and <br>IV. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in handling Transport Department’s licensing applications.
