- (a)為視頻資料 (如影帶／光碟／非磁帶類資源／數位化檔案等等) 進行分類及編目；
- (b)維持及支援常用視頻片段庫存；
- (c)處理查詢及為香港電台不同平台的製作提供研究工作支援；及
- (d)協助館長處理日常館務和管理半專業人員。(註：須執行任何被分配指派的職責及須不定時工作／輪值。)
職責
- (a)classifying and cataloguing video materials (e.g. Betacam tapes / discs / tapeless resources / digitized files, etc.);
- (b)maintaining and supporting the common footage pool;
- (c)handling enquires and conducting research to support the production on various platforms of RTHK; and
- (d)assisting the librarian in daily operation and managing semi-professional staff.
Note:
Perform any other duties as assigned and required to work irregular hours / shifts.

申請人必須－
- (a)
- (i)持有香港的大學所頒發學位，以主修圖書館學或新聞學為佳，或具備同等學歷；或
- (ii)持有香港的專上院校頒授經評審獲認可的副學士學位或高級文憑，以主修圖書館學或新聞學為佳，或具備同等學歷；並具有兩年與媒體圖書館管理相關的工作經驗；及
- (b)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科考獲第2等級或以上成績，或具備同等成績[請參閱註(1)]。
申請人如具–
- (i)熟悉新聞及社會時事；
- (ii)擅於操作電腦及處理中文文書；
- (iii)能操流利廣東話、英語及普通話；
- (iv)具備處理視頻片段的工作經驗；
- (v)具備編製與新聞及社會時事有關的索引、編目的工作經驗；
- (vi)具備處理媒體資產管理系統的工作經驗，如AVID MAM / Premiere / Viz One等；以及／或
- (vii)具備員工管理的工作經驗
則更為理想。
Candidates should have –
- (a)
- (i)a Hong Kong Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Library Studies or Journalism, or equivalent; OR
- (ii)an accredited Associate Degree or an accredited Higher Diploma, preferably in Library Studies or Journalism, from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; and 2 years’ relevant work experience in media library management; AND
- (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note (1)].
Candidates who possess -
- (i)sound knowledge of news and current affairs;
- (ii)good command of computer skills and Chinese word-processing;
- (iii)fluency in Cantonese, English and Putonghua;
- (iv)work experience in handling video footage;
- (v)work experience in indexing / cataloguing news and current affairs;
- (vi)work experience in media asset management systems, such as AVID MAM / Premiere / Viz One, etc; and / or
- (vii)work experience in staff supervision
will have an advantage.
