The Emission Inventory and Modeling Section under the Mobile Source Group of the Air Policy Division is working on vehicle emission measurements and modeling. The successful candidate will be required to – <br>

• (a)oversee and manage the contractors for conducting studies; <br>
• (b)liaise with other governmental bodies, local and overseas contractors and suppliers for collecting information; <br>
• (c)check data, collate returns on the findings of studies; <br>
• (d)handle financial matters; <br>
• (e)procure equipment, parts, accessories and consumables; and <br>
• (f)prepare government tender documents and perform other administrative duties.

Applicants should have – <br>

• (a)a Hong Kong Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a science or engineering subject; <br>
• (b)met the language proficiency requirement of Level 2 (Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent

(Note: “Grade E” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 2” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.); <br> (c) a minimum of three-year relevant full-time post-qualification working experience, of which at least two-year experience in project management or quality management system and at least one-year experience in procurement or administrative work; and <br> (d) good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
