(a) To provide school-based support service on Personal, Social and Humanities Education (PSHE) Key Learning Areas / Citizenship and Social Development for schools;
(b) To develop and disseminate effective learning, teaching and assessment strategies as well as curriculum resources;
(c) To develop and enhance the professional capacity of curriculum leaders and to assist in organising professional development activities for school personnel to facilitate school-based curriculum development;
(d) To assist in administrative duties of the Section; and
(e) To perform any other duties assigned as and when required.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree in Chinese History, History, Geography, Social Science, Political Science, Liberal Studies or Cultural Studies, or equivalent [See Note (i)];
(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;
(c) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note (ii)];
(d) At least 6 years' relevant post-qualification experience in teaching, curriculum development and assessment in secondary schools [See Note (iv)];
(e) Good knowledge of education system and recent trend of curriculum development in both local and international settings;
(f) Good communication and interpersonal skills;
(g) Fluent in English and Cantonese; and
(h) Candidates may be required to take a written test on the day of selection interview.
