職責
技工（電工）主要負責修理和保養政府船隻上的電氣系統和設備。

An Artisan (Electrician) is mainly deployed on repairing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances on government vessels.
[Remarks:May be required to (i) perform emergency/shift duties and work outdoor in remote areas or during rigorous conditions; (ii) work in Marine Police Forward Bases and on board government vessels; and will be required to wear uniform and protective clothing.]

入職條件
申請人必須具備以下資歷：
(a)(i)完成電機工程的認可學徒訓練或其他認可訓練課程；或
(ii)具有最少四年電機工程的經驗；
(b)持有有效的機電工程署署長簽發的A級電力工程電業工程人員註冊證明書；
(c)小六畢業或同等學歷；
(d)中、英文語文能力達小六程度；以及
(e)在適當程度的技能測驗取得及格成績。

(ii)have at least four years’ experience in electrical engineering;
(b)have valid Certificate of Registration as Electrical Worker for Grade A Electrical Work issued by Director of Electrical & Mechanical Services;
(c)have completed Primary 6 education, or equivalent;
(d)have attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Primary 6 standard; and
(e)be able to pass a trade test at the appropriate level.

為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。只會在兩位申請人的整體表現相若時，政府才會參考申請人在基本法知識測試中的表現。
