主要負責執行下列綱領範圍的臨牀及非臨牀職責：（a）法定職責；（b）預防及監測疾病；（c）促進健康；（d）醫療護理；（e）康復服務；及（f）公眾和專業教育。
獲取錄的申請人會按其專業/專科資格及經驗(如有)，被安排於以下分科工作︰ 兒童體能智力測驗、醫學遺傳、家庭健康、家庭醫學、法醫、衞生、病理學、特別預防計劃、胸肺科、懲教所部門會在面試前因應以上各分科的空缺情況聯絡申請人，查詢其申請分科的意願。

Contract Doctor (Special Registration)
月薪港幣 64,270 – 93,710 元﹝入職薪酬視乎有關學歷和工作經驗而定﹞，另加約滿酬金。
職責
Mainly deployed on clinical and non-clinical duties in the following programme areas:
- (a)statutory functions;
- (b)disease prevention and surveillance;
- (c)health promotion;
- (d)curative care;
- (e)rehabilitation; and
- (f)public and professional education.
Successful candidate will be assigned to work in the following streams depending on their professional/specialist qualifications and experience, if any- Child Assessment, Clinical Genetic, Family Health, Family Medicine, Forensic Pathology, Health, Pathology, Special Preventive Programme, Tuberculosis and Chest, and Correctional Institutions.
Depending on the vacancy situation of individual stream at the time of the selection interview, the Department will contact eligible candidates for their preference of Steam
- (s)to be applied for to facilitate making arrangement for the interview.
(Remarks: Selected candidates may be required to work shifts outside normal working hours and perform on-call duties.)
入職條件
申請人必須 -
- (a)為香港特別行政區永久性居民；
- (b)持有獲承認醫學資格，可根據《醫生註冊條例》第161章在普通科醫生名冊第V部中作特別註冊；
- (c)具備良好英文語文能力；
- (d)具備良好中文語文能力（病理學分科除外）；以及 最好能操粵語。
Candidates should –
- (a)be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
- (b)have a recognised medical qualification for registering in Part V of the General Register (Special Registration) in accordance with the Medical Registration Ordinance (Cap. 161);
- (c)proficient in English;
- (d)proficient in Chinese (except for Pathology Stream); and preferably can speak Cantonese.
