總薪級表第8點（每月港幣22,895元）至總薪級表第10點（每月港幣25,815元）
職責
高級技工（打磨／縫帆及索具）主要負責一般金屬打磨和設備維修；以及╱或製造遮篷、護舷墊和一般索具裝置。
[註： 或須(i)執行緊急職務／輪班當值，以及在偏遠地區或惡劣環境下進行戶外工作；(ii)在水警前線基地和政府船隻上工作；(iii)督導並指導技工工作；以及須穿著制服和防護衣物。]

A Senior Artisan (Fitter/Sailmaker Rigger) is mainly deployed on general metal fitting and repairs of equipment; and/or making awnings, fenders and general rigging work.
[Remarks: May be required to (i) perform emergency/shift duties and work outdoor in remote areas or during rigorous conditions; (ii) work in Marine Police Forward Bases and on board government vessels; (iii) supervise and direct the work of Artisans; and will be required to wear uniform and protective clothing.]

入職條件
申請人必須具備以下資歷：
(a) (i) 完成以下適用技能的認可學徒訓練或其他認可訓練課程，並在完成上述訓練後累積兩年相關工作經驗：
(1) 打磨；或
(2) 車牀或燒焊；或
(3) 縫帆及索具；
或 (ii) 具有最少六年運用上述(a)(i)所提及的適用技能的經驗；
(b) 小六畢業或同等學歷；
(c) 中、英文語文能力達小六程度；
(d) 在適當程度的技能測驗取得及格成績；以及
(e) 在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績［請參閱註］。
符合基本入職條件的申請人，如具備擔當水手的相關資歷及／或經驗，會獲優先考慮。

Candidates should:
(a) (i) have completed an approved apprenticeship or other approved course of training with two years’ relevant post-apprenticeship/training experience in the following trades:
(1) Fitting; or
(2) Turning or Welding; or
(3) Sailmaking and Rigging;
or (ii) have at least six years’ working experience in the appropriate trades as mentioned in (a)(i) above;
(b) have completed Primary 6 education, or equivalent;
(c) have attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Primary 6 standard;
(d) be able to pass a trade test at the appropriate level; and
(e) a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test.
For candidates meeting the basic entry requirements, the possession of relevant qualification(s) and/or experience(s) as a sailor will be an advantage.
