- (a)給予部門人員各類部門車輛的基本及高級駕駛訓練；
- (b)協助籌劃和舉辦各類部門車輛的駕駛訓練課程，供有關人員修讀；
- (c)與部門內各行動組及政府物流服務署聯絡，商討有關人員的培訓及考試排期事宜；以及
- (d)保存培訓及考試記錄。
註：駕駛教練或須
- (i)在戶外工作；
- (ii)在正常辦公時間以外工作；以及
- (iii)接受培訓，以取得在受聘時尚未持有的駕駛特別用途車輛許可證。
職責
- (a)to give basic and advanced driving tuition on the whole range of departmental vehicles to officers of the department;
- (b)to assist in preparing and organising training courses for officers in respect of all types of departmental vehicles;
- (c)to liaise with operational sections and Government Logistics Department regarding appointments for training and testing of officers; and
- (d)to maintain records of training and testing.
Note: Driving Instructor may be required to
- (i)work outdoors,
- (ii)work outside normal office hours and
- (iii)undergo training for permit to drive specialised vehicles not held at the time of appointment.

- (i)私家車；
- (ii)電單車；
- (iii)私家巴士；及
- (iv)所有類型貨車；以及
(d)在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績。

- (i)申請人如持有駕駛掛接車輛的有效正式香港駕駛執照，或具備有關提供駕駛指示方面的經驗，可獲優先考慮。
- (ii)申請人須就駕駛技巧和發出駕駛指示的能力通過技能測試。
註一：政府在聘任公務員時，香港中學文憑考試應用學習科目（最多計算兩科）「達標並表現優異」成績，以及其他語言科目C級成績，會被視為相等於新高中科目第3級成績；香港中學文憑考試應用學習科目（最多計算兩科）「達標」成績，以及其他語言科目E級成績，會被視為相等於新高中科目第2級成績。
註二：有關科目可包括中國語文及英國語文科。
註三：政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) C級及E級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3級和第2級成績。
Candidates should –
- (a)
- (i)have Level 2 or equivalent
Note 1] or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE)
Note 2] , or equivalent; or
- (ii)have Level 2
Note 3] / Grade E or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE)
Note 2] , or equivalent;
- (b)have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2
Note 3] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent;
- (c)hold a valid full Hong Kong Driving Licence for the following classes of vehicle:
- (i)private car;
- (ii)motorcycle;
- (iii)private bus; and
- (iv)all goods vehicles
for a period of at least 3 years; and
- (d)have a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test.
Note:
- (i)Candidates should preferably hold a valid full Hong Kong Driving Licence for articulated vehicle or have previous experience in giving driving instructions.
- (ii)Candidates will be required to pass a trade test on driving skills and ability to give driving instructions.]
Note 1: For civil service appointment purpose, “Attained with Distinction” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade C in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 3 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE. “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.
