(a) To plan, organise and conduct professional development programme in support of the implementation of Liberal Studies; (b) To develop teacher networks for Liberal Studies; (c) To assist in research and development projects related to Liberal Studies; (d) To assist in development, review and evaluation of the curriculum of Liberal Studies; (e) To coordinate the development of curriculum materials to support the learning and teaching of Liberal Studies; (f) To provide professional advice on the implementation of Liberal Studies curriculum; (g) To assist in the dissemination of the New Senior Secondary (NSS) Liberal Studies curriculum to various stakeholders; and (h) To assist in professional and general administrative duties.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree or equivalent; and a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [see Note (ii)]; (b) 'Level 2' results in the two language papers [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) [see Note(iii)]; (c) At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in teaching or curriculum development in secondary education, including at least 2 years' experience in the following subjects at senior secondary level: Liberal Studies, Integrated Humanities or Science and Technology (applicants must list the relevant experience in the application form) [see Note(iv)]; and (d) Preference will be given to candidates with sound knowledge and educational experience in the Liberal Studies curriculum, conducting educational research, delivering of teacher training programmes, directing the development of curriculum resources or the management of school subject panels.
