高級技工(機械)主要負責監督和指導一組技工進行機械裝置及設備的操作／維修工作及單獨執行操作／維修職務，其中包括要求較高技能的維修工作。
職責
A Senior Artisan (Mechanical) is mainly deployed to supervise and direct the work of a team of Artisans in the operation/maintenance of mechanical plants and equipment and to perform operation/maintenance duties independently, including maintenance work which requires higher skill.
入職條件
申請人必須
- (a)
- (i)具備香港專業教育學院／工業學院／科技學院所頒發的機械技工證書，或同等學歷；或(ii)已完成一項認可的機械工程學徒訓練或其他認可實務訓練課程，並在完成學徒訓練／實務訓練後有最少兩年相關經驗；或(iii)有至少六年擔任機械工程的工作經驗；及(b)具備相等於中三程度的中英語文能力。(註：申請人均須通過合適程度的技能測驗。)
Candidates should have
- (a)
- (i)a Craft Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or a technical institute/technical college, or equivalent; or
- (ii)successfully completed a recognized apprenticeship or other approved course of practical training in mechanical engineering plus at least two years' post-apprenticeship/practical training experience in the trade; or
- (iii)at least six years' experience in mechanical engineering; and
- (b)attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English languages equivalent to Form 3 standard.
Note:
Candidates are required to pass a trade test at an appropriate level.
