Specialist (Education Services) I (Educational Psychology)

職責
一級專責教育主任(教育心理)主要負責：
(a) 為在學習、情緒和行為上有問題的兒童提供專業評估服務，以及向該等兒童的家長和教師提供諮詢服務；
(b) 為學生輔導人員、學校發展主任、其他專責人員及教職員等提供專業意見；
(c) 在照顧學生差異方面為學校提供支援並協助其發展；
(d) 支援學校處理危機及緊急事件；以及
(e) 督導其他初級人員，包括二級專責教育主任、督學和助理督學，並向他們提供專業意見。
A Specialist (Education Services) I (Educational Psychology) is mainly deployed on –
(a) providing professional assessment to children with learning emotional and behavioural problems and giving consultation to parents and teachers;
(b) providing professional advice to student guidance personnel, school development officers, other specialist and staff of the teaching force;
(c) supporting and developing schools to cater for student differences;
(d) supporting schools in managing crises and critical incidents; and
(e) providing supervision and professional advice to other junior officers, including Specialist (Education Services) IIs, Inspectors, Assistant Inspectors.
入職條件
申請人須–
(a) 持有本港頒授的心理學學士學位，或同等學歷；
(b) 持有香港專上教育機構頒授的教育證書，或同等學歷[參閱註(2)]；
(c) 持有本港頒授的教育心理學(專業訓練)碩士學位，或同等學歷；
及
(d) 在取得上述(a)項資格後，具備不少於六年有關工作經驗，而其中至少三年在取得上述(c)項的資格後於教育機構擔任教育心理學家的職位[參閱註(2)及(3)]；以及
(e) 在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷(中文運用及英文運用)中取得「二級」成績。[參閱註(4)至(6)]
Candidates should have –
(a) a Hong Kong bachelor's degree in Psychology, or equivalent;
(b) a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [see Note (2)];
(c) a Hong Kong master's degree in Educational Psychology (Professional Practice), or equivalent;
AND
(d) a minimum of six-years' relevant experience after obtaining (a), of which at least three years as an Educational Psychologist in an educational setting after obtaining (c) [see Notes (2) and (3)]; and
(e) met the language proficiency requirement of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent. [see Notes (4) to (6)]
入職條件(註)
(1) 在進行面試前，本局會邀請合資格的申請人參加筆試。申請人需在筆試中取得合格的成績才會獲考慮聘用。被邀參加筆試的申請人通常會在2013年7月底前接到通知。如申請人未獲邀參加筆試，則可視作已落選。
(2) 申請人如果預計在2013年9月1日或之前會獲取所需的資歷及經驗，亦可申請此職位。如獲聘用，申請人必須在入職前提供文件證明已經在2013年9月1日或之前獲取相關資歷及經驗，否則聘用會被取消。
(3) 申請人須述明於取得有關資歷後所具備的相關工作經驗及性質。
(4) 綜合招聘考試中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」，並以「二級」為最高等級。
(5) 香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上的成績會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港高級程度會考英語運用科或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level) English Language科「C」級或以上的成績則會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。
(6) 在International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績的人士，在 IELTS 考試成績的兩年有效期內，會視為已符合一級專責教育主任(教育心理)職位的英文語文能力要求。IELTS考試成績必須在職位開始接受申請的首天（即2013年5月11日）仍然有效。
(7) 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，所有公務員職位的招聘，均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。申請人在基本法測試(學位／專業程度職系)的表現會繼續佔其整體表現的一個適當比重。然而，該測試的成績並不會影響其申請公務員職位的資格。原則上，申請人的學歷、經驗和才能仍然是考慮其是否適合獲聘用的主要因素。
