- (a)進行樹木╱植物勘察，評估並擬備檢查記錄和報告；
- (b)就植物管理訊息系統提供樹木╱植物勘察和評估等技術支援；
- (c)就園境種植工程，砍伐╱移植╱治理樹木及其它樹藝工程提供支援；
- (d)根據工程合約協助監督園境種植工程╱砍伐╱移植╱治理樹木及其它樹藝工程；及
- (e)根據工程合約審查園境種植工程╱砍伐╱移植╱治理樹木及其它樹藝工程。
職責
- (a)To conduct field survey work including tree/vegetation identification and assessment, and to prepare inspection records and reports as may be required;
- (b)To provide technical support in tree/vegetation identification/assessment under Vegetation Information System;
- (c)To provide support in dealing with soft landscape works, tree felling/transplant/surgery and other arboricultural works;
- (d)To conduct site supervision of soft landscape works, tree felling/transplant/surgery and other arboricultural works, prepare and maintain site records under contracts; and
- (e)To check, and vet all soft landscape works, tree felling/transplant/surgery and other arboricultural works, and field survey completed under contracts.

申請人必須 –
- (a)
- (i)持有香港其中一間理工大學╱理工學院、香港專業教育學院或工業學院╱科技學院頒發的環境管理、自然科學或相關科目的文憑或高級證書，或具同等學歷；或
- (ii)持有農業或林業學校╱學院頒發的認可文憑，或具同等學歷；及
- (b)持有由認可樹藝機構或業內組織所頒發的有效資格或證書，例如國際樹木學會註冊樹藝師(Certified Arborist of the International Society of Arboriculture)、澳洲樹木學會(Arboriculture Australia)的註冊合格樹藝師(Registered Qualified Arborist)╱註冊執業樹藝師(Registered Practicing Arborist)╱註冊資深樹藝師(Registered Consulting Arborist)╱註冊資深執業樹藝師(Registered Consulting and Practicing Arborist)
註(1)] 、英國樹木學會技術或以上級別會員(Technical Member or above of the Arboricultural Association of the United Kingdom)、香港園境師學會的認可樹藝從業員、香港中文大學樹藝專業文憑，或同等資歷；及
(c)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績，或具同等成績

(d)具備最少一年樹木勘察╱護理工作經驗。
Candidates should have–
- (a)
- (i)a diploma or higher certificate in environmental management studies, natural science or a related subject from a Hong Kong polytechnic university/polytechnic, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or a technical institute/technical college, or equivalent; or
- (ii)a recognized diploma from an agricultural or forestry school/college, or equivalent;and
- (b)valid qualifications or certifications awarded by recognized institution or industry organization on arboriculture, such as Certified Arborist of the International Society of Arboriculture, Registered Qualified Arborist/Registered Practicing Arborist/Registered Consulting Arborist/Registered Consulting and Practicing Arborist of the Arboriculture Australia
Note (1)] , Technician Member or above of the Arboricultural Association of the United Kingdom, Accredited Arboricultural Practitioner of the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects, Professional Diploma Programme in Arboriculture of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, or equivalent; and
- (c)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent

- (d)at least one year of work experience in tree survey/care.

- (1)可接受在2010年12月31日或之前已成為前澳洲國家樹木學會(National Arborists Association of Australia)一般會員(General Member)人士的資格。
- (2)政府在聘任時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)E級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績。
