A Transport Services Officer II is mainly deployed on – (a) supervising the deployment of drivers and government/hired vehicles; (b) providing support on depot and staff management and other transport related matters; (c) preparing transport related estimates; (d) liaising with the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department or other operators on servicing/repair work; and (e) processing reports on traffic accidents involving government vehicles. A Transport Services Officer II may be required to work irregular hours and perform outdoor duties.

Candidates should have – (a) (i) a Higher Diploma in Transport and Logistics Studies from the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent; or (ii) a Certificate in Management from the Open University of Hong Kong, or equivalent; and 5 years’ supervisory experience, 3 years of which should be in the supervision and control of transport services; and (b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2〔Note 1〕or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent.
