• (a)to support school leaders to implement New Academic Structure and organise relevant seminars and workshops;
• (b)to be the person in-charge of a professional curriculum development network, and to organise professional development programmes about whole-school curriculum planning, pedagogy and assessment strategies for network schools, and serve as a major speaker for the programmes;
• (c)to generalise effective learning and teaching principles and strategies from frontline teaching experiences, and to prepare relevant publications;
• (d)to support whole-person development in schools under New Academic Structure;
• (e)to collect and analyse information about the implementation of New Senior Secondary (NSS) Curriculum; and
• (f)to perform any other duties as required for enhancing the quality of education in schools.

• (a)a Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent; and a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [see Note (ii)];
• (b)'Level 2' results in the two language papers [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [see Note (iii)];
• (c)at least 10 years' relevant post-qualification experience in teaching and/or curriculum development of secondary school level [see Note (iv)]; and
• (d)good communication (written and oral in both Chinese and English) and interpersonal skills; able to communicate with people from different backgrounds and at different levels.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following experiences:

• (1)at least 2-year experience to lead learning and teaching at school level (e.g. Vice-principal, Prefect of Studies, NSS Coordinator);
• (2)experience to teach an NSS subject, preferably a complete cycle from Secondary 4 to Secondary 6;
• (3)experience to organise professional development programmes for secondary school teachers and to serve as a major speaker;
• (4)experience to develop concrete teaching strategies (inside and outside classrooms) to cater for learner diversity and/or facilitate students' self-directed learning;
• (5)experience to write articles/papers/books about teaching strategies. (Please specify these experiences, if any, in your application form or resume.)
