職責
助理秘書長(研究)須負責:
(一) 審視研究資助局未來的發展策略;
(二) 為公營及私營界別制訂並策劃研究資助計劃;
(三) 檢討並精簡工作程序及資助指引;
(四) 支援研資局有關研究資助/獎學金計劃的行政工作(包括聯絡處理研究計劃的行政人員、專家學者和外部評審員);
(五) 監察受資助的研究項目/獎學金;
(六) 安排本地及海外探訪,以及其他活動;
(七) 提供行政支援服務,以協助教資會(有關研究)和研資局及其屬下的委員會和學科小組舉行會議和相關的活動;
(八) 草擬會議文件及報告;
(九) 監察轄下組別的一般行政及人事安排;以及
(十) 其他受指派的工作。
Assistant Secretary-General (Research) will be responsible for:
(a) examining future development strategies of the Research Grants Committee (RGC);
(b) developing and planning of research funding schemes for the public and private sectors;
(c) reviewing and streamlining work procedures and funding guidelines;
(d) providing support in the administration of RGC’s research funding / fellowship schemes, including liaison with research administrators, academic experts and external reviewers;
(e) monitoring funded research projects / fellowships;
(f) organizing visits (overseas and local) and other activities / functions;
(g) providing executive support for the meetings of the Univeristy Grants Committee (UGC) (relating to Research), and RGC and its sub-committees / panels, and other related activities;
(h) drafting meeting papers and reports;
(i) overseeing the general administration and personnel matters of the division/section under his/her charge; and
(j) other duties assigned.
入職條件
申請助理秘書長(研究)職位者必須積極主動、具領導能力、擁有良好的人際交往能力和表達技巧及策略性思維。應徵者須在取得學位後,至少有十五年擔任行政及/或管理職位的全職工作經驗,尤以擁有高級管理階層及/或在政府部門的工作經驗為佳。申請者如具備管理研究撥款計劃的相關工作經驗則更為理想。
應徵為助理秘書長(研究)的其他入職條件包括:
(一) 持有本港頒授的學士學位,或同等學歷;
(二) 具備優良中英文書寫及口語能力(包括普通話);
(三) 勤奮進取、有強烈的責任感及能獨立工作;
(四) 擁有優良的組織能力、策劃及分析技巧,並能於壓力下工作;以及
(五) 有良好的電腦運用知識。
For appointment as Assistant Secretary-General (Research), the candidate must be a self-motivated individual, able to lead, have strong interpersonal and presentation skills and strategic thinking. The candidate must have a minimum of 15 years' post-degree full-time working experience in executive and/or administrative support positions, preferably in senior managerial level and/or in government departments. Relevant working experience in the administration of research funding schemes will be an advantage.
Other specific entry requirements that must be satisfied by candidates of Assistant Secretary-General (Research) include:
(a) have a Hong Kong bachelor’s degree, or equivalent;
(b) have very good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
(c) be proactive, and have a strong sense of responsibility as well as the ability to work independently;
(d) possess strong organisational power, planning and analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure; and
(e) have good computer proficiency.
