職責
A Printing Technician II in the Pre-press Stream is mainly deployed on supervising junior staff and undertaking pre-press related duties including typesetting, handling mechanical originals and digital files for output; and operating, maintaining and adjusting machines / equipment to carry out activities such as scanning, proofing, film assembly and platemaking.
入職條件
申請人須具備相當於小六程度的中英文語文能力，及取得以下其中一項資歷：
- (a)完成獲核准及相關的印刷學徒訓練計劃，成績滿意；或
- (b)完成中三學業，或具同等學歷，及三年相關工作經驗；或
- (c)完成小六學業，或具同等學歷，及六年相關工作經驗；或
- (d)取得由職業訓練局頒發的中專文憑(廣告、包裝及印刷)或印刷數碼流程生產技術員基礎證書，或具備同等學歷，及兩年相關工作經驗。
Candidates should have attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Primary 6 standard and have one of the following:
- (a)satisfactorily completed an approved and relevant printing apprenticeship; or
- (b)completed Secondary 3, or equivalent, plus three years’ relevant working experience; or
- (c)completed Primary 6, or equivalent, plus six years’ relevant working experience; or
- (d)a Diploma in Vocational Studies in Advertising, Packaging and Printing or a Technician Foundation Certificate in Printing Digital Workflow Production from the Vocational Training Council, or equivalent; plus two years’ relevant working experience.

- (ii)在有需要時須輪班工作及/或逾時工作。
- (iii)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，所有公務員職位的招聘，均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。獲邀參加遴選面試的應徵者，其對基本法的認識會在面試中以口頭提問形式被評核。除非兩位應徵者的整體表現相若，招聘當局才會參考應徵者在基本法知識測試中的表現。
