(i) To edit, gather and report local, Mainland, international and financial news; (ii) to produce news programmes and news-related specials to meet the needs of various channels, including radio, television, mobile phones and news website; and (iii) to host news-related programmes. (Note: The post-holder is required to (1) work irregular hours / over-night shifts; and/or (2) work overseas)

Candidates should have - (a)(i)a Hong Kong degree, preferably in Journalism & Communications, or equivalent; and 4 years’ media / journalistic experience; OR (ii)an accredited Higher Diploma / Associate Degree, preferably in Journalism & Communications, from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; and 6 years’ media / journalistic experience; AND (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, or equivalent [See Note (1)]. Candidates who possess - (i) fluency in Putonghua; (ii) good broadcasting voice; (iii) good command of computer and Chinese word-processing; (iv) sound knowledge of current affairs; (v) proven working experience in planning and production of international video or TV news; and/or (vi) extensive knowledge of operating multimedia news production equipment will have an advantage.
