二級監工(機械)主要負責協助一級監工監督日常工作，保養╱修理和操作機器、調查機械故障，以及督導下屬。
註：或須(i)執行緊急職務╱輪班當值，以及在偏遠地區或惡劣環境下工作;(ii)於水警分區基地和政府船隻上工作；以及須穿著防護衣物。

職責
A Works Supervisor II (Mechanical) is mainly deployed on assisting Works Supervisor I in day to day work supervision, maintaining/repairing and operating machines, investigating mechanical breakdowns and supervising subordinate staff.
Note :May be required to
- (i)perform emergency/shift duties and work in remote areas or during rigorous conditions;
- (ii)work in the Marine Police Divisional Base and on board government vessels; and will be required to wear protective clothing.]
入職條件
申請人必須具備以下資歷：
- (a)
- (i)持有香港任何一所理工學院╱理工大學、香港專業教育學院或工業學院╱科技學院所頒發的機械工程證書，或同等學歷；或
- (ii)具備最少五年作為機械工程工人的經驗；或
- (iii)圓滿完成機械工程的認可技術員學徒訓練；以及
- (b)中、英文語文能力達中三程度，或同等學歷。
Candidates should have -
- (a)
- (i)a Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic university/polytechnic, Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or technical institute/college, or equivalent; or
- (ii)at least five years’ experience as a worker in Mechanical Engineering; or
- (iii)successfully completed a recognised Technician Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering; and
- (b)attained a level of proficiency in Chinese Language and English Language at Form III standard, or equivalent.
