主要職責包括–(a)就車輛廢氣排放模擬方法提供改善方案／建議；(b)研發對誤差估算、質量保證等的分析方法；(c)對測量所得的車輛廢氣排放數據及調查所得的數據進行統計分析；(d)協助設計車輛廢氣排放數據庫及數據處理程序；(e)協助編制車輛廢氣排放清單及評估減排措施；(f)協助／監督改良車輛廢氣排放模擬系統的工作；以及(g)有需要時執行由督導人員指派的其他技術性／行政職務。 <br> <br>(註：工作時間及地點須視乎部門的運作需要而定。獲錄用者或需(a)不定時及超時工作，包括晚上及周末和周日；及(b)不時在戶外工作。）
職責
The main duties include –
- (a)providing improvements/recommendations on the vehicle emission modeling methodology;
- (b)developing analyzing methodologies like error estimation, quality assurance;
- (c)conducting statistical analysis on vehicle emission measurement and survey data;
- (d)assisting in the design of emission database and data manipulation procedures;
- (e)assisting in compiling vehicle emission inventory and evaluating emission reduction initiatives,
- (f)assisting/overseeing the upgrade of vehicle emission models; and
- (g)performing other technical/administrative duties as assigned by the supervisors when required. <br> <br>(Note: The hours and venues of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of the department. The successful candidate may be required to
- (a)work irregular hours and overtime, including evenings and weekends; and
- (b)work occasionally outdoors.)
入職條件
申請人須–(a)在物理學或工程學科中，考獲本港大學頒發的一級或二級榮譽學士學位，或同等學歷；(b)取得資格後具有最少3年涉及物理系統的統計分析及數值模擬的適當職責工作經驗；(c)具備良好中、英文會話及書寫技巧；以及(d)取得資格後具1年使用(i)統計軟件(如SPSS、SAS或R)或(ii)程式編製語言(如python或FORTRAN程式)的經驗。
Candidate should have –
- (a)a Hong Kong first or second class honours degree in a Physics or Engineering subject, or equivalent;
- (b)minimum three-year relevant post-qualifications experience at an appropriate level of responsibility involving statistical analysis and numerical simulation of physical systems;
- (c)good command of spoken and written Chinese and English; and
- (d)one-year post-qualifications experience on either
- (i)statistical softwares (such as SPSS, SAS or R), or
- (ii)programming languages (such as python or FORTRAN programming skills).
