• (1)To load and unload / bundle up / dispatch mail items and mail bags; <br>
• (2)To assist in operating mechanised letter sorting machines or other mail processing machines, and date-stamping; <br>
• (3)To perform messenger duties (including indoor / outdoor delivery and collection of mail items); <br>
• (4)To convey, load and unload bulky items in indoor or outdoor areas, and deliver goods by vehicles; <br>
• (5)To tidy venues and perform cleaning duties; and <br>
• (6)To undertake duties assigned by supervisors. <br> <br>Note: <br>
• (a)Work Location: Any regions in Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories <br>
• (b)Working Time: <br>
  • (i)Worker: <br>• Monthly-rated positions: any 8 hours between 06:15 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. <br>• Daily-rated positions: any 8 hours between 08:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. <br>• Hourly-rated positions: any 3-6 hours between 06:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. <br>
  • (ii)Worker(Overnight): <br>• Monthly-rated positions: 8 hours 10:00 p.m. to 06:00 a.m. <br>
  • (iii)Worker(Platform): <br>• Monthly/Daily-rated positions: any 8 hours 07:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. <br>
• (c)Working Hours: <br>• For monthly-rated workers, the basic working hours are 48 hours per week (8 hours per day, including one-hour meal break per day); <br>• For daily-rated workers, the basic working days are 4-6 days per week (8 hours per day, including one-hour meal break per day); <br>• For hourly-rated workers, the basic working hours are 18-36 hours per week (3-6 hours per day, not including meal break). <br>
• (d)The working location and time may vary according to the operational needs of the Department. Selected candidates are required to work shifts, in irregular hours and/or overtime. They may also be required to be on duty on Sundays and / or public holidays on certain occasions, depending on the operational needs.

Applicants should: <br>

• (1)be able to read and write simple Chinese and English; and <br>
• (2)pass a fitness test of lifting and carrying a mail bag (around 16 kg) from one place to another.
