二級特別攝影員的主要職責是(a)拍攝照片，包括罪案現場照片、鑑證照片及特別事件照片；(b)沖曬、曬印和保養菲林及照片；以及(c)為大型及嚴重罪案錄影重組案情經過，並處理監視影片及錄影帶。 <br> <br>(註：須出庭作證，亦須輪班工作，包括夜班工作及候命值勤任務。)

職責
A Special Photographer II is mainly deployed on
- (a)taking photographs including crime scene photographs, forensic photographs and special event photographs;
- (b)developing, printing and maintenance of films and photographs; and
- (c)making video re-construction for major and serious crime cases and processing surveillance films and videotapes. <br> <br>(Note: Required to give evidence in court, and required to work shifts including night duty and standby duties.)
入職條件
申請人必須
- (a)在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績，或具同等學歷 [請參閱註(2)]；
- (b)符合語文能力要求，即中國語文科和英國語文科成績等同
- (a)項所列的等級；
- (c)具有不少於兩年專業攝影工作經驗，並具備簡單維修及保養攝影器材知識及經驗；以及
- (d)通過技能測驗。
Candidates should
- (a)have Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) [see (Note 2)], or equivalent;
- (b)have met the language proficiency requirements in Chinese Language and English Language of equivalent level as
- (a)above;
- (c)have at least two years' experience in professional photography, and knowledge and experience in simple repairs and maintenance of photographic equipment; and
- (d)pass a trade test.
入職條件(註)
- (1)合資格的申請人如具備數碼影像處理及錄像剪輯知識將獲優先考慮。 <br>
- (2)政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)E級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績。 <br>
- (3)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。申請人在基本法測試的表現會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重。
