(a) To provide School-based Educational Psychology Service (SBEPS) to schools/ kindergartens, including support to schools to handle critical incidents;
(b) To provide psycho-educational assessment and intervention for students with learning, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties;
(c) To provide consultation and support to school personnel and parents for students with diverse educational needs;
(d) To organize, design and conduct training for school personnel and parents; and
(e) To perform other duties as required.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree in Psychology, or equivalent;
(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [see Note 1];
(c) A Hong Kong master's degree in Educational Psychology (Professional Practice), or equivalent;
(d) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [see Note 2]; and
(e) After obtaining qualification (a) above, 6 years of relevant working experience of which 3 years as an Educational Psychologist (EP) in an educational setting after obtaining qualification (c) above [see Note 3]. Relevance of experience as an EP in other settings will be determined individually by the Education Bureau.
