技工的主要職責為監督郊野公園設施的建造及保養工作、執行需特殊技能的建造及保養、維修工作；帶領郊野公園的清潔隊；撲滅山火；繁殖與栽種植物和收集種子；種植及護理樹木與植林區、進行植被管理工作；以及操作建築機械及設備。
註：
或須在交通不便的偏遠地區工作；不定時工作及／或輪班工作；以及在惡劣天氣或颱風期間工作。
職責
An Artisan is mainly deployed on supervising the construction and maintenance of Country Parks facilities and performing skilled construction and maintenance/repair work; leading a Country Park litter collection team; fighting hill fire; carrying out plant propagation and production and seed collection; planting and maintaining trees and plantations as well as managing vegetation; and operating construction plants and equipment.
Note:
May be required to work in remote places with difficult access; work irregular hours and/or shift duties; and work in inclement weather or during typhoon.
入職條件
申請人必須：
- (a)具小學六年級教育程度；
- (b)至少具3年的有關行業的工作經驗；以及
- (c)能夠以廣東話／中文和簡單英文溝通；閱讀簡單中文和簡單英文；以及書寫簡單中文或簡單英文。
Candidates should –
- (a)have Primary 6 education;
- (b)have at least 3 years’ working experience in an appropriate trade; and
- (c)be able to communicate in Cantonese/ Chinese and simple English; read simple Chinese and simple English; and write simple Chinese or simple English.
