職責
技術主任(多媒體)的主要職責是︰
(a) 為研究和發展學習科技及電子學習教材提供技術及行政支援；
(b) 試行運作電子學習套件；
(c) 為應用於培訓的教學科技提供技術支援及意見；
(d) 為製作電子學習教材和操作學習科技系統提供訓練；
(e) 為應用新興數碼科技提供技術支援及意見；以及
(f) 為製作電子學習教材提供多媒體設計支援。
(註：或須不定時和在戶外工作。)

A Technical Officer (Multimedia) is mainly deployed on –
(a) providing technical and administrative support in the research and development of learning technologies and e-Learning training materials;
(b) conducting test-run of e-Learning packages;
(c) providing technical support and advice on using learning technologies in training;
(d) providing training in the production of e-Learning training materials and operation of learning technology systems;
(e) providing technical support and advice on using emerging digital technologies; and
(f) providing multimedia design support in the production of e-Learning materials.
(Note : May be required to work irregular hours and perform outdoor duties.)

入職條件
申請人必須：
(a) 持有由香港任何一所理工學院／理工大學，或香港專業教育學院／科技學院／工業學院頒發的資訊科技或多媒體文憑或高級證書，或具備同等學歷；
(b) 符合語文能力要求，即香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科成績達第二級[請參閱註(1)]或以上，或具備同等學歷，並能以中、英文溝通；
(c) 在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績[請參閱註(2)]；以及
(d) 通過技能測驗。

(a) a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Information Technology or Multimedia from a Hong Kong polytechnic / polytechnic university or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / technical college / technical institute, or equivalent;
(b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [see Note (1)]; and be able to communicate in Chinese and English;
(c) a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test [see Note (2)]; and
(d) passed a trade test.

入職條件(註)
(1) 政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科﹙課程乙﹚E級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第二級成績。
(2) 政府會測試所有應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》及《香港國安法》知識。在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績是所有公務員職位的入職條件。申請人必須在《基本法及香港國安法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。
如申請人在申請公務員職位時仍未曾參加相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試或未曾在相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試考獲及格成績，仍可作出申請。他們會被安排在招聘過程中參加相關《基本法及香港國安法》測試。
(2) 政府會測試所有應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》及《香港國安法》知識。在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績是所有公務員職位的入職條件。申請人必須在《基本法及香港國安法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。
