職責
職位(a)
主要職責包括:
(a) 與就業主任合作,與有需要的少數族裔求職人士進行面談,並為他們提供就業諮詢服務,包括提供就業市場及培訓╱再培訓課程的資訊、求職意見,進行職業志向測試,為他們配對合適的工作等;
(b) 協助舉辦就業講座及為少數族裔求職人士提供跟進服務;
(c) 協助尋找適合少數族裔求職人士的職位空缺,以及根據僱主的甄選準則物色和轉介合適的少數族裔求職人士;
(d) 支援舉辦和宣傳招聘會的工作,並在招聘會現場提供協助;
(e) 協助製作宣傳品、接觸少數族裔人士並與他們保持聯繫,推廣勞工處的就業服務;以及
(f) 協助執行辦公室其他一般文書職務。

Position (a)
The main duties include –
(a) to partner with Employment Officers in conducting interviews and providing employment advisory services to EM job seekers in need, including provision of information on labour market and training/ retraining courses, job search advice, conducting career aptitude test, matching EM job seekers to suitable jobs, etc.;
(b) to support the organisation of employment briefings and provide follow-up services for EM job seekers;
(c) to assist in canvassing vacancies suitable for EM job seekers, and identifying and referring suitable EM job seekers to employers based on their selection criteria;
(d) to provide support for staging and publicising job fairs, and render on-site assistance in job fairs;
(e) to assist in the production of publicity materials, reaching out to and maintaining liaison with members of the EM community to promote the employment services of the Labour Department; and
(f) to assist in discharging other general clerical duties in office.
Position (b)
The main duties include –
(a) to assist in providing simple interpretation and translation service to ethnic minorities (“EMs”) such as introducing the public services provided by the Labour Department, facilitating their completion of forms etc.;
(b) to liaise with customers including but not limited to EMs for building up and maintaining customer relationship and collecting feedback;
(c) to provide general support for manning reception counters and receiving incoming calls;
(d) to provide support for preparing and conducting various activities and programmes, including but not limited to those for EMs;
(e) to assist in discharging other general clerical duties in office including receipt and dispatch service; and
(f) to undertake other duties as assigned by supervisors.
