雷達機械師主要負責設計、裝置及維修電子器材包括雷達、以電腦控制的器材及遙測系統。他/她須隨時候召執行職務、不定時、在正常工作時間以外或在惡劣天氣情況下工作，或執行戶外工作。
職責
A Radar Specialist Mechanic is mainly deployed on the development, installation and maintenance of electronic equipment including radars, computer-based equipment and telemetry systems. He/She will be required to perform on-call duty and to work irregular hours, outdoors, outside normal office hours, or in adverse weather conditions.
入職條件
申請人必須：
- (a)持有由一間理工大學/理工學院、香港專業教育學院或工業學院／科技學院頒發的電子工程或其他合適科目高級證書或同等學歷；及
- (b)在設計、裝置及維修雷達、電子或微型電腦等器材及系統方面有8年實際工作經驗；及
- (c)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科成績達到第2等級或以上
註(1)] ，或具備同等成績，並能操流利粵語及英語；及
(d)在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績

Candidates should have:
- (a)a Higher Certificate in Electronic Engineering, or an appropriate subject, from a Hong Kong polytechnic university/polytechnic, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or a technical institute/technical college, or equivalent; and
- (b)8 years’ practical experience in the development, installation and maintenance of radar, electronic or microprocessor equipment and systems; and
- (c)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE)

- (d)a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test

入職條件(註)
- (1)政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)E級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績。
- (2)政府會測試所有應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》及《香港國安法》知識。在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績是所有公務員職位的入職條件。申請人必須在《基本法及香港國安法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。
如申請人在申請公務員職位時仍未曾參加相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試或未曾在相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試考獲及格成績，仍可作出申請。他們會被安排在招聘過程中參加相關《基本法及香港國安法》測試。
