測量主任(工料)(工程組)主要負責以下工作－
- (a)為各類工程量度工料數量、擬備建築工料清單和招標文件；
- (b)擬備簡單的額外工程費用表；
- (c)擬備和核對工程的工料量度數值、中期付款及決算；
- (d)為初級人員提供在職培訓；及
- (e)應用工料測量電腦程式處理數據。
註：
獲取錄的申請人可能派往其他政府部門工作；及或須不定時工作、進行戶外工作、以及在颱風、天氣惡劣和其他緊急事故期間執行緊急和候召職務。

職責
A Survey Officer (Quantity Discipline) (Engineering Field) is mainly deployed on-
- (a)taking off quantities, preparing bills of quantities and tender documents for all types of engineering projects;
- (b)preparing uncomplicated 'star' rates;
- (c)preparing and checking of measurements, interim payments and final accounts on engineering works;
- (d)providing in-service training to junior staff; and
- (e)processing data by applying quantity surveying computer software.
Note:
Selected candidates may be posted to other government departments; and may be required to work shifts or irregular hours, perform outdoor duties, and perform emergency and on-call duties during typhoon, severe weather conditions and other emergency events.
入職條件
- (a)持有香港其中一間理工大學／理工學院、香港專業教育學院或工業學院／科技學院頒發的建築工料測量、建築學或土木工程文憑或高級證書，或具同等學歷；及
- (b)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績

- (a)obtained a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or Civil Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic university / polytechnic, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or a technical institute / technical college, or equivalent; and
- (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination

入職條件(註)
- (1)政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科（課程乙）E級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績。
- (2)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，所有公務員職位的招聘，均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。申請人如獲邀參加遴選面試，會被安排參加基本法筆試。筆試會於面試前或後舉行。申請人在基本法知識測試的表現，會用作評核其整體表現的其中一個考慮因素，但不會影響其申請公務員職位的資格。原則上，申請人的學歷、經驗和才能仍然是考慮其是否適合被聘用的主要因素。
