(a) To assist in the professional matters of the Basic Competency Assessment (BCA) Project; (b) To assist in the planning and operation of the online platform for Student Assessment Repository (STAR) in liaison with the Hong Kong Education City (HKEdCity) and other service providers; (c) To assist in the setting of assessment items on Mathematics and the related platform enhancement for the STAR project; (d) To coordinate with other subject teams in the development of the Web-based Learning and Teaching Support (WLTS); (e) As the Mathematics subject team leader, to lead the development of support materials for the WLTS and the conduct of subject-specific research studies and professional development programmes on Mathematics; (f) To lead the conduct of various analyses on Territory-wide System Assessment (TSA) data and provide professional support in other subject-specific analyses; and (g) To assist in handling personnel and IT matters.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a BEd degree majoring in Mathematics, or equivalent; and a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [see Note (ii)]; (b) 'Level 2' results in two language papers [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [see Note (iii)]; (c) At least 10 years' relevant post-qualification experience in teaching and/or curriculum development in the subject of Mathematics [see Note (iv)]; (d) good communication, thinking and inter-personal skills. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a higher degree related to curriculum studies, or equivalent; and (e) Candidates short-listed for interview are required to take a written test in English.
