The successful candidate will assist in - (a) reviewing financial statements of travel agents and extracting data therein; (b) extraction and compilation of data on travel agents; (c) conducting researches and studies related to the Travel Industry Compensation Fund; (d) analysing feedback collected from goodwill visits to travel agents; (e) processing licence applications; (f) on-site inspection of travel agents; and (g) any other duties assigned.

Applicants should – (a) be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; (b) be post-secondary students pursuing a full-time Bachelor’s degree, preferably with basic accounting or IT knowledge; (c) be proceeding to the second/ third or final year of study in 2016/17; (d) have good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (with Level 3 or above in both Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent); (e) have good communication and multi-tasking skills; and (f) be proficient in Chinese word processing and computer applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint. (Note: For appointment purpose, “Grade C” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE is accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 3” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.)
