(a) To conduct data and cohort analyses of Territory-wide System Assessment (TSA) data at both school and student levels; (b) To conduct ad-hoc analyses of TSA data in support of the review of Basic Competency Assessment (BCA), including 2016 Tryout Study (Primary 3) and the student performance in relation to the policy for non-Chinese speaking students; (c) To render the statistical support to other officers of the Section in conducting researches; (d) To conduct desk-top researches on subjects related to the BCA projects; (e) To provide logistics support for workshops and seminars related to BCA projects; and (f) To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors on needs basis.

(a) A Hong Kong master or higher degree in Statistics, or equivalent; (b) A pass result in the Aptitude Test in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE); (c) Met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the CRE, or equivalent [see Note]; and (d) At least 6 years' experience in developing, organising and implementing statistical projects / systems, and conducting statistical analyses and presenting statistical outputs. [Remarks: Preference will be given to candidates with (i) good communication and interpersonal skill; and (ii) good computer skills, and/or knowledge in TSA development.]
