• (a)To assist in workflow review and business process re-engineering in food safety control work and advise on best management practices;
• (b)To assist in the review of data-structure of IT systems to better support operation and enhance data management, data analysis and risk profiling in food safety control work;
• (c)To bridge the gap between the IT team and users during workflow review and IT system overhaul to ensure that the user requirements and acceptance criteria of project deliverables are properly specified and agreed upon;
• (d)To oversee and provide general administration support to the division such as office accommodation, green management, records management, procurement of furniture and equipment and to handle personnel and accounting matters for the division;
• (e)To supervise and monitor the work of general clerks ; and
• (f)To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.

Candidates should have:

• (a)a Bachelor degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
• (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent; or Level 2/ Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE)

• (c)at least 8 years’ post-degree full-time working experience in project management or/and office administration, or/and resource management, with at least 3 years at managerial positions. Preference will be given to candidates with previous working experience in government or public organisations; and
• (d)strong analytical power and good organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
