技工主要職責包括(a)進行一般有關作物生產的田間工作，即整地、植樹或播種、灌溉、除草、施除害劑、施肥及收割等；(b)繁殖及護理蔬菜菜苗及／或果樹，以作生產及研究用途；(c)按照試驗及發展的要求，在田間進行特殊耕作；(d)操作農用機械，例如旋耕機、割草機、機動噴水車及其他農用設備，以及進行小型的保養和修理工作；(e)為農用設備進行刻字及加上標籤的工作；以及(f)執行其他相關職務。
職責
The Artisan is mainly deployed on
- (a)carrying out general field work in crop production, i.e. land preparation, planting or seed sowing, irrigation, weeding, pesticide application, fertilizer application, harvesting, etc.;
- (b)propagating and maintaining vegetable seedlings and/or fruit trees for production and investigation purposes;
- (c)conducting specialized field works according to experimental and development requirements;
- (d)operating farm machinery such as rotary cultivator, mower, motorized-sprayer, and other farm equipment; and carrying out minor maintenance and repairs;
- (e)conducting engraving and labelling for farm equipment; and
- (f)carrying out other relevant duties.
入職條件
合資格申請者必須：(a)具備小六程度學歷；(b)具有最少3年相關工作經驗；(c)能夠閱讀及書寫簡單中文，能操流利廣東話，並能閱讀簡單英文；以及(d)通過技能測試。
The candidate should
- (a)have Primary Six education;
- (b)have at least 3 years’ working experience in the relevant field;
- (c)be able to read and write simple Chinese and speak fluent Cantonese, and be able to read simple English; and
- (d)pass a trade test.
