(a) To organize and deliver professional development programmes for teachers and panel heads ; (b) To support the development and enhancement of learning and teaching resources related to Design and Technology (D&T) subjects and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education; (c) To support schools to upgrade their facilities for implementation of Technology education and STEM education; (d) To offer advice on the curriculum, pedagogical and implementation issues in schools; (e) To identify and disseminate good practices in planning as well as learning and teaching of related disciplines; (f) To arrange related promotion activities or events; and (g) To undertake any other duties assigned.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree majoring in Design and Technology (e.g. Product Design or Industrial Technology) or Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Manufacturing or Systems and Automation), or equivalent [See Note (i)]; (b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent; (c) At least 6 years' relevant post-qualification experience in teaching and/or curriculum development in secondary schools [See Note (ii)]; (d) Good knowledge of the local education systems and the recent curriculum reforms; and (e) Experience in implementing events or activities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education preferred.
