職責
主要職責包括–
(a)利用可用資訊進行空氣質素健康指數（AQHI）預測並發布空氣污染警報；
(b)分析氣象和空氣質素數據，以支援空氣質素預測和優化空氣質素模型；
(c)協助改善空氣質素健康指數（AQHI）報告系統和數據管理；
(d)回應對AQHI及空氣質素資料的查詢；以及
(e)處理及分析空氣監測數據及其趨勢，以編制空氣質素報告和評估空氣管制計劃的成效。
(註: 工作時間及地點須視乎部門的運作需要而定。獲取錄者或需(a)不定時及超時工作，包括晚上、周末和周日及公眾假期；以及(b)在戶外工作。)

The main duties include –
(a) perform Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) forecast and issue air pollution alerts using available information;
(b) analyze meteorological and air quality data to support air quality forecast and model enhancement;
(c) assist in enhancement of Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) reporting system and data management;
(d) respond to enquiries on AQHI and air quality information; and
(e) process and analyze air monitoring data and trends to evaluate the effectiveness of air control programmes and compilation of air quality reports.
(Note: The hours and venues of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of the department. The successful candidate may be required to (a) work irregular hours and overtime, including evenings, weekends and public holidays; and (b) work outdoors.)

(a)在相關的科學或工程學科中，考獲本港大學頒發的一級或二級榮譽學士學位，或同等學歷；
(b)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科考獲第2級（註）或以上成績，或具同等成績（註：2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科（課程乙）E級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或以後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級的成績）；
(c)在取得上述學位後，具有最少三年在空氣質素管理方面的適當職責全職工作經驗，尤以空氣質素數據分析相關範疇；
(d)具備良好中、英文溝通及書寫技巧；
(e)具備空氣質素監測，空氣化學及氣象學方面的知識及工作經驗；以及
(f)精通MS Excel、Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)、樞紐分析表，和統計計算工具（例如 R 或 Python 等），進行數據探索、分析和視覺化，以及具備SQL方面的知識。

Candidate should have –
(a) a Hong Kong first or second class honours degree in a relevant science or engineering subject, or equivalent;
(b) met the language proficiency requirement of Level 2 (Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent. (Note: “Grade E” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 2” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth);
(c) minimum three-year relevant full-time post-qualifications working experience at an appropriate level of responsibility in relation to air quality management, especially in the field of air quality data analysis;
(d) good communication and writing skills in Chinese and English;
(e) knowledge and experience in air quality monitoring, air chemistry and meteorology; and
(f) proficiency in data exploration, interpretation and visualization using MS Excel, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Pivot Table, statistical computing tools (such as R or Python), and knowledge of SQL.
