The successful candidate is mainly responsible for:- <br>

• (a)processing the payment of grants from the Environment and Conservation Fund (“ECF”); <br>
• (b)preparing the monthly management accounts and annual financial statements of the ECF; <br>
• (c)assisting in the investment of funds under the ECF; <br>
• (d)assisting in the preparation of costing statements; and <br>
• (e)carrying out other duties as assigned by the supervisors. <br> <br>(The hours and venues of work may be varied having regarded to the operational needs of the department. The successful candidate may be required to work irregular hours and overtime, including evenings and weekends and public holidays.)

Candidates should have/ be:– <br>

• (a)
  • (i)either a Hong Kong Degree in Accountancy, or equivalent; or
  • (ii)be a registered student of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants Qualification Programme, or equivalent; <br>
• (b)at least one year’s full time post-graduation working experience in accounting/ auditing; <br>
• (c)met the language proficiency requirement of Level 3 (Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English

(Note: “Grade C” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 3” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth); and <br> (d) proficient in Excel.
