職責
助理督學(學位)主要負責以下職務:
(a) 進行質素保證視學;
(b) 協助教育專業人員的專業訓練及發展;
(c) 協助課程發展及評審;
(d) 提供校本支援及協助學校發展;
(e) 監察和提供特殊教育服務;以及
(f) 協助規劃及推行其他教育政策。
獲取錄的申請人須接受調職安排,以配合部門的運作需要。除了擔任所申請科別的職位外,申請人可能會被安排填補一般事務科別或其他相關範疇的職位。
(a) 進行質素保證視學;

Assistant Inspectors (Graduate) are mainly deployed on the following types of duties :
(a) conducting quality assurance inspection;
(b) assisting in professional training and development of educational professionals;
(c) assisting in curriculum development and review;
(d) provision of school-based support and school development;
(e) monitoring and provision of special education services; and
(f) assisting in formulation and implementation of other education policies.
Appointees are subject to posting to meet operational needs. Apart from posts in the subject streams they apply for, they may also be deployed to fill posts in the Generalist stream or other related disciplines.

入職條件
申請人必須–
(a) 持有本港頒授的通識教育、社會學、社會研究、中國歷史、歷史、地理、地質學、經濟、環境研究/科學、政治與行政學、科學、科技、社會/公共行政、心理學、健康教育或價值教育學士學位,或具備同等學歷;
(b) 持有香港專上教育機構頒授的教育證書,或具備同等學歷;
(c) 在取得學士學位後具備四年有關的工作經驗,當中必須有最少三年全面涵蓋中四、中五及中六通識教育學科的教學經驗[參閱註(1)];以及
(d) 符合語文能力要求,即在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷(中文運用及英文運用)中取得「二級」成績,或具備同等成績[參閱註(2)]。
申請人必須具責任感、積極進取和熱心工作;品格良好、為人正直;有志於教育服務;以及能以中、英文有效溝通。
持有香港以外學術機構所頒授學歷的申請人,請隨申請書夾附有關學術機構所簽發的文憑/證書、成績單及列明有關課程的授課形式(例如全日制/兼讀制、在當地院校上課/遙距授課等)的證明文件副本。申請人也應盡可能提供所有其他有關的學歷證明文件副本,以便進行學歷評審的工作。至於持有本地學歷的申請人,亦須夾附列明其修讀學位課程時主修和副修科目及/或相關科目訓練的證明文件副本。

Candidates should have –
(a) a Hong Kong bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies, Sociology, Social Studies, Chinese History, History, Geography, Geology, Economics, Environmental Studies/Science, Government and Public Administration, Science, Technology, Social/Public Administration, Psychology, Health Education, Values Education, or equivalent;
(b) a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;
(c) four years' relevant post-degree experience, with at least three years of experience fully covering the senior secondary levels 4, 5 and 6 in the subjects of Liberal Studies [See Note (1)]; and
(d) met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [See Note (2)].
Candidates should be responsible, self-motivated and enthusiastic; have a fine character and integrity; be committed to serve in the education field; and be able to communicate effectively in Chinese and English.
For candidates holding qualifications obtained from academic institutions outside Hong Kong, please attach to their application copies of diplomas/certificates, transcripts of studies and official documents issued by the relevant academic institutions stating the mode of delivery (e.g. full-time/part-time, on campus/distance learning, etc.) of the study programmes. To facilitate the assessment of the qualifications, candidates should provide the above documents for all other relevant qualifications obtained as far as possible. For candidates holding local qualifications, please also attach copies of the documents stating the major and minor subjects studied in their degree courses and/or relevant subject training.

(3) 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣,政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。申請人在基本法測試的表現會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重。
