統計助理主要負責 -
- (1)利用統計軟件進行數據處理及分析；
- (2)編製統計圖表及報告書；
- (3)編製簡單電腦程式及應用電腦軟件，以進行統計工作；
- (4)協助測試統計工作電腦系統；
- (5)為統計調查及/或日常運作提供支援；
- (6)負責統計調查問卷的編碼、審核及數據輸入工作；及
- (7)執行其他與統計相關的工作。
職責
The Statistical Assistant is mainly deployed on –
- (1)performing data processing and data analysis using statistical software;
- (2)compiling statistical tables/charts and reports;
- (3)preparing simple computer programs and applying computer software in statistical work;
- (4)assisting in testing of computer systems of statistical work;
- (5)providing support in statistical surveys and/or daily business operations;
- (6)coding, editing and inputting questionnaire data; and
- (7)performing other duties in relation to statistical work.
入職條件
申請人必須 -
- (a)
- (i)持有香港統計學會頒發的統計學普通證書，或同等學歷，並具有兩年統計工作的實際經驗；或
- (ii)持有香港統計學會頒發的統計學高級證書，或同等學歷；或
- (iii)持有香港理工大學頒發的數學系高級證書，或同等學歷；或
- (iv)持有香港理工大學頒發的商業統計及電子計算副學士學位，或同等學歷；或
- (v)持有香港理工大學頒發的數學、統計及電子計算學／商業統計及電子計算學高級文憑，或同等學歷；或
- (vi)持有香港專業教育學院頒發的應用統計及電子計算學／商業分析高級文憑，或同等學歷；以及
備註：持有認可學位或副學位的申請人，如其課程內容有相當部分與統計學相關（例如：精算學、數據科學、數據分析課程），亦會被考慮。
- (b)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績，或具同等成績。
備註：政府在聘任時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科（課程乙）E級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績。
Candidates should have –
- (a)
- (i)an Ordinary Certificate in Statistics from the Hong Kong Statistical Society (HKSS), or equivalent, with two years’ practical experience in statistical work; or
- (ii)a Higher Certificate in Statistics from HKSS, or equivalent; or
- (iii)a Higher Certificate in Mathematical Studies from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, or equivalent; or
- (iv)an Associate in Statistics and Computing for Business from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, or equivalent; or
- (v)a Higher Diploma in Mathematics, Statistics and Computing / Statistics and Computing for Business from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, or equivalent; or
- (vi)a Higher Diploma in Applied Statistics and Computing / Business Analysis from the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent; and
Remarks: Candidates who have a recognised degree or sub-degree in programmes with substantial contents related to Statistics will also be considered (e.g. programmes on actuarial science, data science, data analytics).
- (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent.
Remarks: For appointment purpose, ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 is accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
