• (a)To develop a Community Drug Formulary to support relevant clinical strategic purchasing programmes;
• (b)To develop the Community Drug Formulary policies, scope of coverage, business model and procurement strategy;
• (c)To assess market interest and acceptability in supporting the Community Drug Formulary and its impact to the local pharmaceutical industry;
• (d)To develop the roles of community pharmacy in formulating or supporting relevant strategic purchasing programmes;
• (e)To liaise with the Hospital Authority in formulating model of combined drug purchasing;
• (f)To develop relevant drug supply and prescribing user requirements in the Strategic Purchasing IT platform; and
• (g)To perform any other duties as assigned by supervising officers.

Candidates should –

• (a)be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong established under the Pharmacy and Poisons Ordinance, Chapter 138;
• (b)hold a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong;
• (c)have at least 20 years of relevant post-registration experience, of which 10 years in senior position performing service planning and management duties; and
• (d)have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
