職責
(一) 就教資會研究評審工作及相關項目的推行提供行政支援,包括籌備評審小組及提供支援、與持份者聯繫、制定及執行指引及程序、協調顧問工作、籌備活動,並於研究評審工作的各階段執行相關職務;
(二) 統籌及聯絡各院校和評審小組,以處理和安排評核院校所遞交的研究評審項目及/或教資會/研資局撥款申請;
(三) 就落實各項政策或教資會/研資局推行的研究資助計劃提供行政支援,包括處理經大學遞交的研究資助申請、聯絡學科小組成員及外部評審員,以統籌研究資助申請的評核工作、在評審過程中提供相關的秘書處支援等,並就受資助項目的監察和評核工作提供行政支援;
(四) 為教資會/研資局轄下的工作小組及委員會提供秘書服務,包括學科小組成員的委任事宜、備存小組成員的利益申報、定期檢討小組成員名單等,並協助草擬會議文件、為研究資助計劃及教資會/研資局轄下的工作小組的相關會議及活動提供秘書處支援;
(五) 提供一般辦公室運作和人事工作上的行政支援,監督文書人員的工作,並處理一般辦公室行政及檔案管理事宜;
(六) 就研究生相關事宜提供行政支援;以及
(七) 履行其他受指派的工作。

(七) 履行其他受指派的工作。
(a) To provide executive support to the implementation of the UGC’s Research Assessment Exercise and related initiatives, including formation of and support to assessment panels, liaison with stakeholders, development and operation of guidelines and procedures, engagement of consultants, organisation of events and carry out related duties through different stages of the Exercise;
(b) To implement the processing of submissions and arrange assessment of submissions under the Research Assessment Exercise and/or applications of UGC/RGC research funding schemes by coordinating and liaising with universities and assessment panels;
(c) To provide executive support to the implementation of various policy initiatives and University Grants Committee/ Research Grants Council’s research funding schemes, including handling research grant applications from universities, coordinating proposal assessment by external reviewers and panel members, and provide secretarial support to the selection process, etc.; as well as the monitoring and assessment of funded projects;
(d) To provide secretarial service to working groups, panels and sub-committees under the University Grants Committee/ Research Grants Council, including appointments matters of panel membership and maintaining registers of interests, regular review on membership, etc.; to prepare draft discussion papers and to provide secretarial support to meetings and events in relation to the research funding schemes and working groups under the UGC/ RGC, etc.;
(e) To provide executive support in general office administration and personnel matters, supervise the work of clerical staff and handle general office administration matters and records management of the team;
(f) To provide executive support to Research Postgraduate students related matters; and
(g) To perform other duties as assigned.

(b) have a minimum of five years’ post-degree full-time working experience in the executive and/or administrative support positions. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in event or project management or working experience in the administration of public research funding schemes and/or related support in the Government and/or higher education sector;
(c) with excellent command of spoken and written Chinese (including Putonghua) and English. The candidates should have met the language proficiency requirements of “Level 2” results in the two language papers of Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [See Note];
(d) good computer skills and knowledge of computer software, including Chinese and English word-processing, spreadsheet, powerpoint presentation and database management;
(e) have good organisation, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; and
(f) able to work under pressure and have a strong sense of responsibility as well as the ability to work independently.
