職責
- (a)To lead a School Support Team (SST) and coordinate the team's work on developing, implementing, reviewing and refining strategies in support of the Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) Scheme in Primary Schools;
- (b)To monitor, review and enhance the development and implementation of literacy programmes to support the implementation of the Curriculum Development Council (CDC) English Language Education (ELE) Key Learning Area (KLA) Curriculum Guide (P1-P6)
- (2017)and the English Language Curriculum Guide (P1-6)(2025);
- (c)To lead project teams to plan, implement and review strategies for promoting curriculum and pedagogical innovations, and the creation of engaging learning experiences and opportunities for students in English learning;
- (d)To supervise the daily work of the Advisory Teachers serving on the SST;
- (e)To lead ad hoc task groups and coordinate their work, covering the administration of an annual online survey to collect school's feedback on the NET Section's advisory support, the building of the NET Section's capacity to cater for the wide-ranging support needs of public-sector primary schools, including schools enrolling students with intellectual disabilities (ID), and the design of the evaluation of the NET Scheme in Primary Schools; and
- (f)To undertake any other duties assigned.
入職條件
- (a)持有香港所頒授主修英國語文、英語研究、英國文學或教育的學士或以上學位，或具備同等學歷[見註(i)]；
- (b)持有香港專上教育機構所頒授的教育証書，或具備同等學歷；
- (c)具備敎授英語作為外語或第二語言的證書，或具備同等學歷者優先；
- (d)在取得上述(a)及(b)的學歷後，具備至少10年與英國語文教育相關的工作經驗，其中至少4年與促進英語學習和教學有關的學校、英文科或計劃管理經驗[見註(iii)];
- (e)具備英國語文教育學習領域課程發展經驗者優先；
- (f)具備設計、統籌和舉辦教師專業發展計劃方面的經驗及具備為有特殊教育需要學生設計或實施支援計劃的經驗者優先；
- (g)具備領導和統籌語文學習計劃工作經驗者優先；
- (h)具備以英語為母語水平的會話及書寫能力；
- (i)具備流利的中文會話及流暢的書寫能力更佳；
- (j)能夠在壓力下工作；
- (k)掌握教學策略和運用科技支援語言學習和教學的新趨勢；
- (l)具備良好領導能力；
- (m)具備良好諮詢技巧；以及
- (n)具備良好人際交往和組識能力。
備註：此職位男女均可申請。
- (a)A Hong Kong bachelor's degree or above majoring in English Language, English Studies, English Literature or Education, or equivalent [see Note(i)];
- (b)A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;
- (c)A certificate in Teaching of English as a Foreign/Second Language, or equivalent preferred;
- (d)At least 10 years' relevant post-qualification experience [as specified in
- (a)and
- (b)above] in English language education, of which at least 4 years of experience deals with school, panel or project management related to promotion of English learning and teaching [see Note(iii)];
- (e)Experience in curriculum development in the English Language Education Key Learning Area preferred;
- (f)Experience in designing, coordinating and conducting teacher professional development programmes and designing or implementing support programmes for special educational needs students preferred;
- (g)Experience in leading and coordinating literacy programme development preferred;
- (h)Native English proficiency (both oral and written);
- (i)Fluent Chinese (both oral and written) is an advantage;
- (j)Strong ability to work under pressure;
- (k)A sound knowledge of a repertoire of pedagogical strategies and latest trends in using technology to support language learning and teaching;
- (l)Good leadership skills;
- (m)Good consultancy skills; and
- (n)Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
